Entrepreneurs must learn to tackle business risks in the Metaverse
The metaverse remains largely undefined. A challenge to answer this question What is the metaverse? Partly because its definition depends on who you ask. As it stands today, the metaverse consists of virtual reality and what we used to call cyberspace with digital assets like non-fungible tokens (NFTs), cryptocurrencies and more.
In the rush to be the first to innovate in the metaverse technology, companies are neglecting risk management. But in the risk management metaverse, as in our physical world, all risks must be managed in a connected and connected way. If new entrants to the metaverse are to protect against the overwhelming scale and cost of cyber risks, they must learn to identify these risks, continuously monitor for threats, and make informed decisions for a robust future based on information gained from past threats and attacks.
