Boko Haram frees abducted Nigerian schoolgirls

Boko Haram activists liberated scores of seized Nigerian schoolgirls on Wednesday, yet a portion of the discharged understudies said five of their classmates had kicked the bucket in bondage and another was all the while being held.

The Islamist contenders, some of them yelling 'God is most noteworthy', drove the understudies again into the upper east town of Dapchi in a line of trucks early in the day, dropped them off then left, witnesses told Reuters.

"Five among us taken away were dead. One is still with them since she is a Christian," one of the liberated young ladies, Khadija Grema, told Reuters.

Dapchi occupant Muhammad Bursari said his niece Hadiza Muhammed, one more of the liberated young ladies, had revealed to him the rest of the understudy was still in bondage since she had declined to change over to Islam.

Witnesses said more than 100 of the 110 young ladies seized on 19 February were returned, however the government provided an announcement saying 76 young ladies had been liberated in a "progressing process".

The seizing of the young ladies matured 11-19 was the greatest mass kidnapping since Boko Haram took in excess of 270 schoolgirls from the town of Chibok in 2014 - a case that activated universal shock.

The Dapchi kidnapping has heaped weight on President Muhammadu Buhari, who came to control in 2015 promising to get serious about Boko Haram's nine-year-old insurrection and could confront the voters again one year from now.
