পহেলা বৈশাখের দিন বাহারি শাড়ী, চুড়ি পরে পরিবার ও বন্ধুদের সাথে বর্ণিল আনন্দে সবার দিন কাটে। পহেলা বৈশাখের পান্তা-ইলিশ (Hilsa)সেই আনন্দের মাত্রা বহুগুণ বাড়িয়ে দেয়।
