For long, hiring contractors for home repairs has face three major setbacks, which have made consumers loose their trust in any information given by the online review websites to get recommendation :

False reviews

When people go online, for search listings, in order to get recommendations from google, Homeadvisors, or Yelp, they have been defrauded for false reviews all around. Contractors or companies buy fake positive reviews for themselves and false negative reviews for their competitors. They, in essence, hide all negative reviews which are ment for their company services. Consumers only get to know the bitter truth after the contracts have been signed and payments made.

Advertising, which has been seen to be the heart of every business, is very important for for every thriving business. Consumers go online to find prices for home repair services which are not explicit. For example a consumer may go online to purchase skilled service for toilet repairs. The cost displayed on the website are total or estimated amount of all that is needed (both labour and materials). There are no separate listings for what the materials will cost, and the labour cost to give consumers the opportunity to search online to compare if the materials costs are correct or overcharged. Solution

Bob's repair builds BOB app on the steem blockchain. This means that transaction speed will be three seconds and there will be no transaction cost as the steem blockchain is known for. All financial transactions on the Bob's repair platform or marketplace takes place on the blockchain. Reviews coming from the contractors and consumers are linked to a financial transaction which cannot be reversed or changed. On the platform, there will be Escrow service which will secure consumer funds, reviews, job agreement etc. This is to ensure that such documents are not changed later. This will also ensure that terms of agreement or jobs are fuldilled.

After jobs are done or failed to be done, consumers writes a review on the platform which are stored on the blockchain linked with a transaction.

Bob's repair will create awareness by creating a 50,000person customer base from the previous STWP in order to invite more contractors to join the platform.
