BMW has sold 100,000 electric cars in 2017

BMW intended to sell 100,000 electric cars this year and has achieved that objective the company said today.
Sold cars are fully electric but also electrified models like Series 2 Active Tourer.

BMW sold 60,000 models last year, while this year the increase was 60%. The company also said it expects a double-digit increase in sales in 2018.
In early 2017, the prominent German manufacturer launched a partnership with Solid Power startup to commercialize solid state battery technology.
BMW has planned to offer dozens of electric models by 2025 and a four-door electric sedan in 2021.
