I just read your post 'eggs in one basket' - are the books a good passive income?- I keep talking about writing up my travel memoirs, but still putting it off!

So many people keep saying I should be putting a book or two out....
They are passive income once you get them online. How good that income is depends on a number of factors. Memoirs are usually not good unless you have a "How To" component. So my weight loss book is not about me, but about how you can do it too.
You need to have good copy about the books, good keywords, good covers, and be in good categories on Amazon. There are all skills you learn as you go and there is lots of online info.
Publishing (after writing) is not hard at all. Amazon favors "short reads" for Kindle, so 7-20K words is all you need.
Finally, one book is not going to do as well as if you have 3+. My author friends who do the best have many, many books out. Sometimes they use pseudonyms and have 100's.
This was a very cheap one. It was about 2200 thb total. It is now at around 1700 thb one way looking out a few weeks. Are you getting ready to travel?
