Heaviest creature on Earth discovered by scientists

Scientists have made a remarkable discovery of an ancient animal that now holds the title of the heaviest ever known to have existed on Earth. This colossal creature, named "Perucetus Colossus," has been extinct for an extended period and once roamed the deserts of Southern Peru, approximately 39 million years ago. Fossil evidence indicates that these animals had unique adaptations, such as denser bones, which allowed them to control their buoyancy in shallow waters, similar to modern-day manatees.
Estimations from the fossils suggest that Perucetus likely reached a length of 17 to 20 meters, and its bone mass would have been remarkably dense, weighing between 5.3 and 7.6 tonnes. Taking into account the weight of organs and muscles, scientists believe that these ancient creatures could have weighed anywhere from 85 to 320 tonnes. This staggering weight would have made Perucetus significantly heavier than even the largest of today's blue whales!
