Hitting Roadblocks.

As well as posting each day, we put into place growing our client's Instagram accounts with relevant followers.
There are some quirks when it comes to managing Instagram for clients, firstly it has to be upgraded to a business account, and to do so needs to link to their Facebook page. Also, the client needs to set the account up initially using their businesses domain email to avoid it being blocked.
Recently we hit a major roadblock, where a client had bought a business, got all the social media access, but the old owner had inadvertently connected their personal Instagram account to the Facebook business page. This stopped us dead in our tracks of connecting the official Instagram account. After numerous emails back and forth with the client, myself and the old owner on how to disconnect it, we managed to resolve it with a phone call to them, talking them through which buttons to press. The whole process took a week, whilst we fixed it in 2 minutes when we called them. Just another thing to be aware of when dealing with Instagram.
