Editing Video

Steemit is the first platform to make me get serious about drones, aerial cinematography and blogging. I'm currently in the process of editing down my second video with drone footage from the Sierras. The most tragic part of the editing process for me is throwing away footage I thought was going to look cool, but ended up being boring. I was emotionally invested in it being good, but when I showed it to my dad and brother, they fell asleep because it was so long. So I trimmed it down so now there are only action shots, no boring, beautiful nature shots :( It hurts to edit out so much footage that I wanted to leave in. That's part of the tragedy of editing, I can't show you everything, just the stuff you want to see.
