When you write a whole blog post and it gets swallowed into some black hole of oblivion between pressing POST and it being actually posted?

I'm beginning to wonder myself. Made two post this morning as a new blogger on Steemit and they don't even show up on my own page. Not being very happy with Steemit and I think all the self-promotion that happens is just similar to multi-level marketing.
