The Birth of My New Website

I decided after some time, that I should get back into web design. So I'm starting with my new website!

Took me a few hours or more to get the software, create some images, put this all together and get the links working.

This is still in the preliminary stages as I have quite a bit of work to do yet but I thought I'd post some info.

More or less, locating everything is fairly simple. You can get really picky with preset measurements but I'm not doing that at the moment. Linking is fairly simple as well. I have chosen to use Open Element which is pretty easy to use. Gives you mouse over ID's, editing and viewing options, even what type of media device you want it designed for. The software does a lot of the coding and hard work for you. Much easier than software I used many years ago. However I did have an issue getting the link for the home button working, and my logo and picture won't show up all the time. I'll have to do a bit of research as I have tried three different file types, and multiple locations.

I have played with a couple graphic design programs as well. Mostly Inkscape, and I have also used Paint 3D. Again these are pretty easy programs to use, you just need to fiddle around and be creative. With Inkscape, you can also create or edit animations which I will be dabbling and posting on soon.
