What is the most serious problem in Sports Talk Social?

This is my entry to the contest promoted by @rokyupjung.

For those not yet familiar with the SPORTS tribe, as its name suggests, it is a community of writers who write sports publications.

The subject is extremely broad, after all, the amount of sports that exist around the world is very diverse (something that even changes from country to country, considering the traditions of each place)... So, because so far this tribe has not yet took off?

In my opinion, I can see at least three very specific problems and it is about them that I comment separately:

01. Content Diversification.

Pop Optiq

Everyone knows (though they don't like or admit it) that Football is the most popular sport in the world... But why does most publications have to be just about this sport?

I can't see this tribe growing up just talking about sports and it makes perfect sense considering there is room for all sports and this initiative has to start from the writers to try to comment on other sports and not spin on the same kind of content.

02. The Quality of Publications.

Up Solutions

What is the reason for writing posts without the slightest content? I see this happening so often in this tribe (as well as Steemit in general) and it really does not bring anything that adds any positive value to the community.

Many posts have only a random image, and the post has a sequence of tags just to try to collect as many different currencies as possible to try to earn some more bounty (something that usually ends up but further weakens the tribe's strength).

03. Lack of Recognition.

Kambazine

Whether it's those who have the most power and are the most influential (the whales) or even the weaker writers... The lack of recognition is extremely disappointing / frustrating and it mainly affects those people who really like and strive to write interesting publications.

Why do the vast majority of people prefer to ignore posts (leaving no comments at all) and pretend that nobody wrote anything?

On the other hand, writing empty comments adds nothing at all, and that turns out to be a pretty complicated balance, because keeping comments without something constructive just to make good-neighborly politics is not feasible.

There are still some other points, but they are not so incisive to be part of this list of problems. Finally, I would like to end this post by saying that despite the problems, any community only grows with a lot of dialogue, creativity and group work!

To all three points that you made, I couldn't agree more. Thanks for putting them in a very logical and plausible way. I enjoyed reading this post.:D
