Exhausted? Take A Break and Recharge
I know not all of us do the daily blogging routine. It is because:
- There is another job aside from blogging;
- You can’t have time to blog because of emergency situations;
- You just see a blog as a supplementary activity.
For others though, like me, blogging is considered a serious business. It is something we can’t live without, for the moment, because it is the main driving force for income-generation.

Blogging is something we view as a business, not just an activity which you can just set aside.
However, those who have been into blogging have been caught up with certain problems also. There is a time of less productivity. There is a time for no earnings or revenue particularly when you’re just starting up. And there is a time when quitting is seemingly the only resolution.
I don’t advice to give up in business blogging because I know that this activity can bring in a lot of rewards in the future–if the right ingredients are in place.
However, I find it also reasonable and advisable to take a break.

FYI, a majority of bloggers are writers. I would consider myself in that category. But being a writer and blogger, I have experienced a situation common to many literary artists– writer’s block.
In the case of blogging, it is called "blogger’s block". And this syndrome is not only a problem to writer-blogger. Many bloggers have come to experience this without them knowing about it.
The most common symptom of this syndrome is the inability to create a content for posting for a certain period. That could leave a trail of unproductivity in that day or period.
I believe that many business bloggers are creative, impulsive and self-driven. But, it is inevitable for errors to arise, pressures to explode and stresses to become apparent when too much of things in relation to blogging is put forth.

The best advice: STOP BLOGGING.
Not that I advise you to quit because you don’t have to. Just take a break from it.
It may be a day or two, especially when the blogger’s block becomes conspicuous.
And then find time and put energy to be inspired.
Meditate. Contemplate. And be Driven.
And then when you feel ready or you force yourself to become prepared because you have to, then you may have productivity mode set in.
Just try and let me know if it works.
I am not an expert blogger but i feel the same:) thanks for sharing .
You're welcome @reginecruz
True sometimes it's good to step back, recharge and get inspired again.
Precisely boss @maverickinvictus.
Nice post! I will follow you from now on.
I have experienced blogger's block a lot of times. And on times when my creative juices won't flow I take a break and recharge like you. It's really hard to force your mind to cooperate, especially when there's a deadline to beat. But that's the best thing about Steemit. It doesn't feel like a job where you are obliged to produce, here, you write whenever you want to.
This is a good read, and I love that you are so constant at producing well-written and quality blog posts. Keep it up! :)
Thanks @chinitacharmer for the kind words and encouragements :D Really appreciate it :)
I'm not a professional blogger or writer but I love to write about my new learnings & experiences in life and I finally found that exact term for this feeling where you want to write but your mind just wont cooperate, that moment you just feel blank.
So, "bloggers block" is the term huh,
Nice to know @wdoutjah 😅
You are right there. 👍
Writing is a medium to express our own thought and feelings. Being unabled to do so is kinda frustrating, especially to those who treated writing as part of their daily living..
Relax, be inspired and go find yourself a motivation to be able to write again.
@wdoutjah as they say rest but don't you quit. I blog to take rest from the stress of the day writing relaxes me.
I've been blogging for a month. And most of what i put out is really content driven but there willl come a time that you get exhausted and the ideas wont flow anymore. I had just gone to a big trip that I had after blogged about and then it even got curied but I failed to realize that i need to rest and setting up self imposed deadlines is not helping me create content. Took a week off writing and focusing on content. Now im back and recharged! 😊
