Simalungun Culture

Hello steemian.
I am Simalungun. I will introduce the tribe of simalungun.
Indonesia has many tribes culture. One of a tribe in north sumatra that was Batak. Batak also composed of some kind, one of them was Batak Simalungun.
Was Batak simalungun can be found a lot in the regions pematang raya.

The tribe of Simalungun known with the soft language.
Equal to other was batak, simalungun having marga. But in simalungun, that only consisted of 4 marga. There are Purba, Damanik, Saragih and Sinaga.
Clearly by hearing that 4 marga, people will know that is Simalungun.

Simalungun also has the motto, namely Habonaron Do Bona, in precisely i could not interpret that.
But, the defined a handle for the tribe of simalungun is the truth. Different with the other, Simalungun use the Daun Sirih or in Simalungun language is Demban. That as a symbol of the tribe of Simalungun .

Something simalungun tradition that draws of culture death.
The make customary simalungun when people died.

Especially, when responsibility to the child has been finished. If that is the case the family will also makes a show big launch party for the customary death.
Customary death held on during a party, a person who has died would also be given Tor-Tor sombah. It shows homage to him.
