Gaia (Original Poem):
Gaia
Replenishing, giving, selflessly offering and taking
Cyclical patterns of renewal
Rippling circles of water drops cascading powerfully yet gently into pools of serenity
Not disrupted, but feeding off of and feeding into soils of rich course soils and sand
Minute particles of earth crumbling and rolling together
Connected as one mass of amazement working fruitfully to provide life
And to bring death and change upon us
Not to be feared but to be rejoiced as a cyclical motion of giving and taking
Deep inhalations of crisp lush green coverings, protecting and allowing endless freedom
Harmonious sounds of bird's whistles near and distant
Reverberations of scurried movements through fallen leaves
Flowing wind dancing through air, land and water
We are one with nature and it is within us
To feed and to be fed
To live and to pass.
