What inspired #teemnomad?

As many of you know, by now, I became homeless last week and am traveling around in my old 1996 Ford Conversion Van. There are so many of my fellow Steemians who support me through their votes, comments, resteems and even some donations. While discussing my situation with people in PAL Discord General Channel several people suggested I start a channel dedicated to people in similar situations. After some debate #teemnomad was agreed upon as the name for the channel!

What is #teemnomad's purpose?

#teemnomad is a place for people who are homeless, camping, living in their vehicles, traveling around by foot, etc. to congregate, exchange stories, share their experiences, help each other and get the support they need from a community of like minded individuals.

Who can join #teemnomad?

Well anyone can join! We are a community of Nomad's, Wanderers, Homeless, Downtrodden and Explorers. We need people from all walks of life who want to "Live Vicariously" through us. We need people who support our dreams, ambitions and choices. We need people who want to share their stories, adventures and experiences living a different lifestyle than the societal norms.

How is #teemnomad possible?

Thanks to the generocity of @aggroed and the #minnowsupport project we have our own channel on the PAL Network (home of #minnowsupport).

Who are the mods?

Well since this is a brand new room, I am currently the only mod of #teemnomad, but I will be accepting applications so if you would like to be a mod in #teemnomad make a Post on Steemit titled: "Application to be mod in #teemnomad!" and detail why you want to be a mod and what benefit you will bring to the community. Then DM me a link to the Application Post. I will be picking mods from the applications over the next few weeks.

What plans are there for #teemnomad?

There is already a bot in the works (not by me) called MSP-Nomad which I hope to help fund (delegate sp to) that will be focused on helping minnows who are in similar situations as I am. I will also be working with some of the fine members of MSP and Steemit to hold Contests for #teemnomad members.

What can I do to support #teemnomad?

The best ways to show your support are:

• Use #teemnomad in your posts (as a tag in the post or in the tag field below the post on the Submit page)
• Follow the progress of msp-nomad bot and when it goes live make sure to Delegate SP (whatever you can spare) to it, so that it can have Power when it votes on #teemnomad and msp-nomad member posts!
• Author posts that coincide with the mantra (above) of #teemnomad
• Vote, Resteem and Comment on all posts tagged #teemnomad
