GRIFF 300 - DRON TRANSPORTATION

Griff 300 is a multi-rotary engine designed and manufactured by the Norwegian company GRIFF Aviation. Out of the competition, it is distinguished by two things: an incredible capacity of nearly 225kg and two air certificates issued by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

The weight of the Griff 300 is about 75kg so it is able to raise three times its own weight. In addition, the manufacturer's flight time is between 30 and 45 minutes depending on the mass of the load - this is a pretty good result (as for an electrically driven MR) that can operate at relatively large distances and over a large area.

Leif Johan Holland, CEO of GRIFF Aviation, said in his press release that his company was at the initial stage of its Griff 300 sales planning, focusing on obtaining both certifications from the two largest aviation agencies. Thus, GRIFF Aviation became the first company to have both FAA and EASA certifications. This in turn will enable the introduction of unmanned aerial vehicles to the European and American markets for professional use, eg in the field of heavy air transport.

The Griff 300 is to be easy to transport in complex form, easy to prepare for flight and in the pilot itself. It is designed to be used for both stationary ground stations and portable RC controllers.

As Leif Johan Holland announces, the Griff 300's performance is already impressive, but that is not the last word his company has to say. The successor of the Griff 300 is planned to be loaded with a 3-times heavier load and more models - even more. Holland says that his drones will be a revolution in the professional unmanned industry.

GRIFF Aviation comes from another Norwegian company, Magic Air, which specializes in professional aerial photography. In the beginning of 2016 Magic Innovation was established - the sister company Magic Air, which was dedicated solely to the design and production of professional drones. Ultimately, the unmanned vehicles developed by Magic Innovation are marketed under the brand name GRIFF Aviation.
