My spouse and I were sitting in our car in the Arby's parking lot having supper, when seven police cars all drove up at once and surrounded us. It turns out they were just all stopping in for a bite to eat :)
Ha! My fiance and I had a similar incident right in front of our house last year. We live in a decent neighborhood, so this was weird anyway, but while we were sitting in our living room we suddenly started hearing this really sort of heavy "clank-clank" like someone was doing something with maybe a crowbar. We look out our front window and we see a big, armored SWAT van right in front of our house. A bunch of cops wearing full-on riot armor with AK-47's dangling from their arm straps while attaching the battering ram to the front of the vehicle (the clanking we heard). She and I look at each other like, "Wait, what did we do? They MUST have the wrong house!"
Then they all hopped in the van and took off down the street. Not sure where they went, but they were sure getting ready for when they got there.
Hahahaha, You Might have just escaped from the brink of moment when they have rammed into your house, Probably They were called off because they have got the right house down the street, A little mistake might have ended in Chaos.
Oh it wasn't even remotely for us or our location. I bought my house. lol
They just stopped in front of our house to finish preparing for wherever they were headed.
They must not have been thinking different. They were all thinking Arby's...at the same time. Funny now, but I am sure your heartbeat was racing when they all pulled up!
It's so funny how as soon as you see the police, or some other authoritarian body, all of a sudden you immediately fall into self-policing behaviour, or feel unfounded guilt. It happens to all of us. It's the theory behind Bentham's Panopticon.

Holy cow, lol!
Remember, don't rent a house where the previous tenant forgot to pay a parking ticket.
Police tend to not check if the address is current.

I actually feel more safe, energized and spirited when coops are around!!!!
Its just a matter of time before your past catches up with you! lol
