Reviewing PUBG or Player Unknowns Battle Grounds
Ok so I have played like 500 hours of this game, and would like to review what I think of the game.
Concept
I have to admit I love the concept of this game, 100 players are all dumped from a plane over a large map with a parachute and the clothes on their back.
Then the players must battle it out until your the last man(or squad) is standing.
Once you land on the ground you must loot your way around towns finding weapons, armor, medical gear, weapon accessories and more. I personally enjoy the looting side of the game.
There is a zone which starts out as a large circle on the map, and gets smaller every few minutes which forces the players to make their way towards each other. This really helps eliminate camping and makes the game more action packed. So there's no camping in one spot for too long.
The battle royale concept for this game is amazing, and a welcome change from the stock standard games like COD and Battlefield. I have found it to be really enjoyable.
The Pros
There are so many things I love about this game.
- There is no noob tubing or crummy rocket launchers
- The game seems to run well, bar the odd glitch here and there
- The concept for the game is amazing
- There is a large player base, so you can always get a game really fast
- The graphics look really good
- There is a great mix of weapons and attachments, with new ones added in here and there
- You can earn points which can be used to purchase crates
- The game is always full of action, never seem to be twiddling my thumbs
- The list goes on :)
The cons
Well as with anything there is usually some cons. Although we must remember this game is still in early access so it's always getting improved and updated.
- Every now and then you just want to have a game, but it says failed to connect, or servers are too busy, or too many login. So you have to wait 30 mins or so for it to come good again.
- There is the odd weird glitch here and there which makes you say wtf. Like one day I was driving across a bridge, then my car just randomly blows up. Wasn't taking fire and wasn't in a mortar zone. Another time all I did was crouch and I die, it says I died from falling lol.
Hackers
Yes we all hate them, and unfortunatly most games have them.
I have encountered a few hackers in PUBG though they seem to get banned alot so I don't see them very often. Maybe one in 50 games which is not too bad.
Conclusion
Player Unknowns Battlegrounds is a great game. I would highly recommend it if your getting tired of the usual games and would like to try something different.
