A big hello to all my lovely people out there!

Yeah… I know I haven’t posted anything since quite a long time now, but I’m back and back with another interesting post!

So I’m a mad fan of all things ethnic. I believe it adds an automatic elegance, no matter whatever body image you carry. I’m born and brought up in India and there is a deep true love in my heart for all things Indian when it comes to outfits (I adore western outfits too) – but there is a beautiful comfortability in ‘Desi’ clothes. And the brownie point here is, that you can team up any Indian outfit with a western wear and you’ll surely blow people’s mind. I’ve made an attempt to do the same in this post

I picked up this cotton Kurti from a local store in Mumbai. I loved the color, the fabric and those little Aztec detailing on the chest. But the showstopper is the slit it has, that starts from the waist and continues diagonally till the end. Also the the fact that I can style it in many ways, made it a quick buy! So here are the 2 looks that are quiet easy and can be carried on a daily basis.

FIRST LOOK

The first and the most mandatory look is to pair it with a legging or a salwar. I opted to pair with bright Orange pants (which are more in vogue) to add more brightness to the look. I take this platform to confess my eternal love with silver / junk jewelry! Guys, I love oxidized accessories and thus I wore these silver choker and bangles along with a rustic cuff (all from a local store) to complete the look.

SECOND LOOK

Going complete antonym, I opted for denim hot pants with the same Kurti. Keeping it very simple, I wore a golden septum ring and carried a the sling tassel bag to complete the look. Well, the highlight of this look are the tie-up chappals that I picked up from Amritsar, Punjab and DIY’ed it to make it look the way it is right now
