Why is it so hard to say some things?
Have you ever been laying in your bed, thinking about your life? Maybe your life isn't really good at the time, and you're struggling with work or studies. But how can you say that to your friends and family without them thinking you're just lazy? Saying something can be really hard, and sometimes the fear gets in the way of telling people how you really feel.
We give ourself a different life from who we are alone and with others. I did that, and I still do. Saying that you're having a bad day or week is hard, you're afraid to be told that you're just making up. That there's always someone who's worse than you. But why is that so important? YES, people can have it so much worse than you can. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't be taken serious. Even if your friend is having a bad time it doesn't mean that you can't. We try to compare each other all the time. Who's the most sick, who's the best, who's the nicest. It happens everywhere. But why doesn't anyone stand up and say something?
Let's say you've had some rough months, why must people come and say that they've had it worse than you? EVERYONE is different, everyone handles bad times different. No one is alike, that's why it's wrong to throw everyone under the same bus. And I get mad when I see people comparing their sadness to other. It's okay not to be okay.
To finish off this little rant I feel like I'm having, here's a cute picture of me and Robin!
