Steemit Helps Us to Change For the Better Not Only Our Own Lives!

Preamble

You can spend hours arguing about what in the USSR was more - good or bad. Each political system has its pros and cons for different strata of the population. But one thing remains unchanged: there are always people who don't live, but surviving from day to day! And it so happened that my family could not boast of a good income. Neither in the times of the USSR nor after its collapse... As far as I can remember, at certain times even a piece of bread was a delicacy. At the same time, in the minds of people, including my parents, there was an ineradicable belief that money - evil. This is not surprising because for so many years they lived under the influence of agitation about the "tainted capitalistic West". Therefore, one more thing not surprisingly - my upbringing.

Who I was.

My teenage life did not begin in the most pleasant way. The world turned out disastrously greed and injustice place indifferent to someone else's misfortune! On the other hand - I... wanted to help every kitten on the street. But as you guessed, almost always my desires and "wants" remained unrealized. 'Cause most of the problems in our world are solved by money, but I didn't have it. Years were passing, and nothing changed for me. The world didn't want to "bend". And I in those days did not realize that to change the world it is necessary to change myself. Change my perception, consciousness, way of thinking! But I was brought up to listen to the elders and respect them. Do not question their words... All the fault - my naivety, lack of critical thinking. Now it all seems so simple truths but in those days... So, I lived tormented by thoughts of not being able to help someone... but in fact, I myself needed help.

Changes.

It's no secret that cunning people make money off the naivete. And since my "almost adult" life was at a time when my country was fully mastering capitalism, I was deceived... and then again. It's unpleasant - to work and not get money for it, is it? No one wants to be a simpleton, a fool. In those moments, I began to realize "how things work". Simple workers are no longer needed to the country which no longer exists! Everything changed! Those who would reject it and try to live "out of habit" - will sink into oblivion. I began to re-learn life... this time not on someone else's orders, advice, and rules, but using my own mind. I completely revised the thesis "need to respect the elders." The asshole does not become wise with age, he becomes an old asshole! People are respected for their actions, and not for the number of years lived by them... And you know, I stopped being deceived and got a permanent job. Of course, this was not a dream job, but I had enough to buy eat and pay bills. It would seem that if you have a constant income, you can gradually create savings. But this was hampered by several reasons... the main one of which I believe is the wrong attitude to money in principle. Yes, yes... money is evil! Why do they need me? I could easily give them to anyone who (in my opinion) need it. Only a few years later and faced with the situation when the money could save a life... I realized that money must also be treated wisely! Money can do woes, but not on their own. It all depends on - in whose hands is it!

Now.

Now I'm here - on Steemit, and I am firmly convinced that Steemit can change the lives of many people for the better! I understood that I love money and money began to love me :) Maybe it does not sound right, but it's true! For the first time in my life, the desire to help coincided with the opportunity! In fact, money is an opportunity. Opportunity is not only for someone who has it! All you need is to have the desire to make good deeds! Here I met wonderful people who think the same way and, as far as possible, help others! For example - @ackza, he helps people here on Steemit and in real life! It only convinces me more and more that we are on the right way! Therefore, I urge you not to consider Steemit only as a means of earning and solving your own problems! Remember - even one person is able to do something good for many! And together we can change the world! Already now we erase borders invented by the governments! We communicate and we help each other! We grow and develop together!

Afterword.

The text is a bit chaotic... I understand. But it's only because it's true. These are my pure thoughts and emotions, without any fiction. I sincerely hope that this utopia will ever come! That people will stop thinking only about themselves and realize that together we can achieve much more than personal welfare! Our years are very limited and there is only one highest goal - what will be left for children after us! And I don't mean only my children! In our Steem Power to rid them all of the problems with which we struggle day by day!
