Last weekend we went to see fireworks
On July 4th I was suffering from a migraine so I didn't get to go see the fireworks. I was in bed all day, but thankfully there are a few places that were delaying their fireworks till the weekend. So Saturday night we headed out to the Prairie Creek Reservoir to watch the fireworks show. I been meaning to get these photos posted but life happens and today has been the first chance I have had to go through them and pull out the images I want to share. I hope you enjoy them. It was a beautiful night to watch them.
I love fireworks
They are really pretty. I have always loved fireworks always get out to watch them every year, though this is the first year I didn't watch them on July 4th. I was a little sad at first that I wasn't feeling well to go out the 4th but I am glad I didn't because watching them on the background of the Prairie Creek Reservoir was much better than instead of the local casino as a background.
You did a beautiful job of capturing everything. One thing that's on my bucket list to do is to take a train trip and be in an observation dome car with the lights off and watch them going up here-and-there, near-and-far. I've also heard of a place on Lake Erie (narrow part of the lake or else the Erie Canal) where Canada and the USA set off their fireworks on the same night and they blend together over the water. I don't know if this is even done anymore. I'd just heard of this many years ago and thought it was a beautiful idea.
