How do I giveaway so many things? It is because I am the Queen of Free
I was asked how I am able to afford to do the giveaways I do
The answer is I am cheap. I like free things and when I can get stuff for free I try to take advantage of it. So I frequently do. Now that doesn't mean the items I have made don't cost me a thing, because they do cost me shipping to get the item and then I also pay for shipping to the winner when I do a contest or a giveaway. I can afford to do them because I don't have to depend on steemit to even help make ends meet. I know many users are making ends meet by using steemit, and since I don't have to and am using it as a way to cushion our retirement fund more. I can use some of the SBD to cover the shipping costs on the items I have made for free with coupon codes.
This is part of the reason I haven't put any of the items up for sale
The coupons codes I use to have this stuff made the price without the coupon code would be fine if it was just one item, but since I am using an on demand printer for these items, the costs of making the items doesn't add up. It doesn't mean that I won't find a printer that has costs that makes sense but as for now, the only way to get these items is to win them in a giveaway or a contest.
So basically I can do these contests because I am the queen of FREE
I love getting free things. So I look for coupon codes for free things. I have signed up for different lists that sends me emails that tells me when different stores have a coupon code for free things. I also plays sweeps and games for points to use on what I want from Sears through their shop your way rewards program and their win it app. So between not having to depend on steemit to supplement our income and being the deal queen I am, that is how I afford to do these contests and giveaways I do. I do keep a lot of the SBD in the system but I also use a portion of it to cover the shipping costs.

I used points to get my dress for my sons graduation. It came today. I also got a new tank top for this summer with that order. I got it all free including shipping. I look for items of sale and then use my points to pay.
I currently have over $21 in points and free cash to use at Kmart or Sears since making this purchase on the 12th. So the hour I spend each week playing the games seems to pay off for me.
Heck ya your wheelin’ and dealin’. My wife works Shopko over pretty good with their rewards. Splitting one purchase into 2 so she can use rewards on the second one. She gets a ton of $10 off on any amount. Stacks a couple of them then pow, got something decent for free.

I work all of the reward programs that was just todays delivery. I get free stuff nearly every day in the mail. And when I do spend money out of pocket I have coupons apps and rebate apps to scan my reciepts in so I never pay full price. I know they are gathering that info to further market but hey free is free and of I can't use it others can. Though the personlized stuff I have made I use those codes to also make stuff to auction off at my family reunions which pays for the next reunion. I use old family photo and reunion photos to put on the products. It is what gave me the idea to do some STEEM and Steemit stuff.

We took grocery savings and that money we put into a seperate account and in a few short years we were able to buy 1.53 acres of land with the money we saved out right.

I love my couponing though for the most part I do 100% electronic ones now and apps. I have 4 coupon apps on my phone and two rebate apps and a reciept app.

Companies give all kinds of things for free. It has taken me 20+ years of trial and error to get it down the way I have. You might be surprised what companies even in Australia gives away. I have a friend Mick who lives in Australia who is a coupon junkie like me and I know he also gets a ton of stuff free and or very little out of pocket. Companies don't like to fully advertise their reward programs because people like me exploit them to their fullest. LOL
Cool! The only free stuff I get are the birthday ones or the ones where you sign up to something for the first time haha
