2017 in a flashback : My 2017 story

A Little Background

Hey steemians..

First of all, i wanna say sorry for being away for 3 - 4 days.. i was helping few friends out with their Christmas celebrations and post Christmas family dinners etc..

Tonight I will again be busy to celebrate new year eve with friends.. (yes, i don't go on new year parties since they seem all pretentious and outright stupid). I always celebrate New Year in a rather decent fashion with people that matter to me the most..

So i thought that i should say hi to all my steemians friends today before the calendar hits 2018.

The Best Way to Bid Farewell to 2017

Honestly, there is no perfect way of doing that.. No matter how much we try to become a totally different versions of us as part of our new year resolutions, a great deal of our old habits and traits crawl through with us..

For me, the best way to bid farewell an year is to reflect on all the good memories i made during that year..

There are few snaps of mine that i took randomly and casually in 2017 at different spots (without knowing that the same would become a cherishable memory). For you, they might be just normal selfies but for me, each picture has an entire story associated with it and i will always cherish those moments..

The time when i got asked out by a guy on the streets after i had taken this picture. Turns out he was a weirdo afterall who was trying to play cool 😂

The time when i bought a new pendant and chain on which i had my eyes on for 6 months..

One morning i woke up still drunk from a hardcore party the night before...that was the best feeling in the world.. i danced like crazy

The first time i wore spectacles and it totally made me look like a freaking nerd.. i was not ecstatic about it and always made weird faces whenever i used to put on the specs..

The time i was a bit stressed out and turned to gym after a long break as a mean to release stress.. that day it was my first day at gym after a long break and i already felt pretty much relaxed

The time i was sad because one of my friends had moved away.. Though it wasnt a big deal but i created an emotional drama and ended up having a fight with her.. that was really childish of me to do

Conclusion

We all had our ups and downs in 2017. But in the end, we all grew up just fine. Some memories were made.. happy and sad both.. but the life goes on.. welcome to 2018..
