The demand for Digital Content has shot off the roof in comparison to previous years, due to the mere fact that, as time advances, more and more people have the ability to access modern technology. But, what does this actually mean? It means that in the business side of things, digital content has potential to let many people be able to take advantage of its growth in a profitable manner.

But What is digital content?

Digital content explained simply, is basically any media which can be accessed with the use of technological devices. In a more complex definition (according to Wikipedia) Digital content is "any content that exists in the form of digital data. Also known as digital media, digital content is stored on digital or analog storage in specific formats."

Still Confused?

On the blog page of Adam Vincenzini he defines Digital Content as - anything that can be "published" and he offers 50 examples of what digital content is. A few are listed below. (You can find more here)

  • A tweet (in any iteration)
  • A photo / image
  • A video
  • A blog post
  • An audio file
  • White papers
  • An ebook
  • The list of examples is endless. . .in fact, anything which is modern tech. in which we utilize as means of communication falls under this category (according to my perspective)

Why Do I think that one can experience gains via publishing digital content?

Technology has gave birth to MANY possibilities. Think about it... Uber, Facebook, FL Studio, Microsoft, even Steemit - just anything digital which has made a name for itself and assists making a living for a huge number of individuals.

Which Digital Content is the most DEMANDED?

According to an article by Laurie Fullerton published on The Drum based on Digital Marketing Jobs, the top two talents jobs are looking for (based on a big study) is:-
  • Digital Advertising
  • Content Creation and Curation
Does the top two mentioned departments seem to be familiar? Steemit is already filling the gap of the top two talents which are in demand and creative individuals from different parts of the world are receiving benefits from the technological blockchain-based platform.

Steemit is a great example of a platform which rewards creativity; but competition is obviously THICK!!!!!

An individual I've seen build new ways people view digital content - which is music in this case is with multi-talented musician, entrepreneur and Harvard graduate Ryan Leslie with his blockchain based Superphone platform (Powered by his tech company, Disruptive Multimedia) which allows him (and other artists on the paltform) to have direct communications with their customers without the interference of "middlemen." Also Read: The TechCrunch & the Forbes Article articles based on the "Superphone" platform.

Another individual I've seen (he is doing most of the things I would like to engage in) is Jerry Banfield, a "Mentor in Magnificence". I have came across his Steemit account (@jerrybanfield) recently and I have been looking at his works at other platforms he uses. He is more of like a Renaissance-Man. From what I've gathered so far, he is a great creative in anything Digital Content. Much like Ryan Leslie. The works of the two mentioned individuals sparks wonders on the minds of those who are looking to enhance their "creativity vessels".

If more "publishable" content were to be integrated with blockchain, what then?

I would see money, money and more money at the price of being independent. Freelancers would take full advantage as well. The thing which would be required though is to deliver Quality over Quantity. Disruptions of industries would shake our modern society, in a way that opportunities would be endless.

Apparently, the more people you can get to hit the upvote button
below next to the dollar sign, the more cryptocash you earn.

The more you upvote the more influence you gain, which equals cash
earned eventually you can get steemit to buy bitcoin, ethereum, etc. so
if you have the time to self-promote yourself, you can click your way to
riches on the internet with steemit???

It would seem to be a long shot to do such, but not impossible. The emphasis is that, digital content creation is so much in demand that, given the time to use various platforms and creating a name for yourself, you will eventually click your way to the riches on the internet. With the use of blockchain technology which is decentralised, various individuals are looking to take advantage of such, most notably, through cryptocurrency (for instance)

I don't know whether if I answered your question
