Did you know? #40 - The Facts About Telekinesis
The Facts About Telekinesis
Telekinesis is a psychological power that has been portrayed in many different types of literature and entertainment since essentially the beginning of time. Telekinesis is defined as being able to influence a type of physical substance without actually interacting with it, and it’s been a popular subject of debate. Even in the bible, Jesus turns water into wine, turns five fish into five thousand fish, and even raises someone from the dead. While in terms of the bible and other ancient texts, we attribute telekinesis to divinity. However, as we change the context of telekinesis to science rather than spirituality, is there any type of truth to it?
What We Know About Telekinesis
Like it was stated previously, telekinesis is something that’s been around basically forever. However, it wasn’t until the 1800s that science set it’s sight on it and was actually able to produce a controlled demonstration of such power. When people would reach out to mediums in order to contact deceased loved ones, it was noted that often times, when extreme psychic energy was being exerted, lights would flicker on and off or tables would fall over on their own. However, some still debate whether this was caused by a poltergeist or if it was actual telekinesis at play.
Fast forward a century to the 1970s, a man named Uri Geller helped telekinesis resurface in popular news. He would go on tours demonstrating to thousands that he could actually fix broken watches, bend spoons, and even alter dice roll results simply by using the power of his mind. This helped surge popularity of telekinesis and when the horror film Carrie came out, it virtually sealed the deal in terms of making this psychological power relevant.
The Truth
But what’s the actual truth behind it? Science says that it’s simple: mind over matter. We’ve all grown up hearing the phrase, “you can do anything that you put your mind to,”, but what we don’t truly give the depth of that statement a second thought. What that means is with the proper focus, meditation, and complete faith in the situation, you can perhaps make things move on your own. You attract what you visualize and think about at all times. In all honesty, you probably won’t be able to make a lamp get up and fly across the room, but there have been numerous studies in which focused, energized, and believing subjects could actually make tiny origami paper creations move on their own.
Telekinesis is not for the faint of heart or the easily distractible. Those who “charge” themselves with the energy of the sun as well as the moon with clear intent can usually make things happen. In 2007, a man who practiced this vigorously had open heart surgery, and through his own type of telekinetic powers, felt no pain and was awake and in a meditative state for the entire process. While that’s not the typical demonstration of telekinesis that we might think of such as making the surgical instruments move on their own or in a certain way, it still was a type of it because he told his body to feel no pain, and it did so.
Recent reports also state that tuning into the fine frequencies that whatever object you are trying to move is a key component. You can then manipulate the frequencies and rearrange them to enable the object to move as your mind commands it.
On a broader scale, this also goes for life circumstances, too. If think negatively, we give off low vibrations. If we think happy thoughts and remain positive and psychologically energized, we give off higher, more joyful frequencies. Since frequencies tend to migrate to similar ones, think of it like this: if we think that we are broke, ugly, or heartbroken, we will attract things that keep us that way because of frequencies. If we keep a smile on and emit happiness and higher frequencies no matter what life gives us, we attract similar things such as prosperity, love, and perhaps even tap into our innate drives to follow our passions which can radiate a beauty that no face could measure up to.
All in all, Telekinesis has actually proven to be real, just in a much smaller way than we had previously thought. We can thank Hollywood and the rest of the media for that notion, but in the meantime, we can take this knowledge and apply it to ourselves so that way, we can be on the right track to living the best life that we deserve. Isn’t science and the human mind so neat?
I saw a man crack a coconut once just by holding it!
Sounds cool!
nice its good and complete article on telekinesis @steemknowledge
Thank you! :)
Uri Geller has fascinated me for many years. He clearly has an ability, but my question to you @steemknowledge is, do you think it is an ability which can be learned? You touch on moving ourselves to a more positive frequency, I like that idea.
Thank you! :)
Yes I think anything could be learnt! :)
gracias por compartir este contenido sigue asi
Thank you very much! :)
great and informative post
i believe you attract what you feel and think
thanks for sharing
Thank you!
I have done it, its easily done by maintaining a certain state of being (I cover it on one of my articles).
The interesting thing about this is... its debatable but at the same time the reasong why so many people try to debunk it is because they want to live in a world where everything is 100% objective, basically a world where the world itself is as it is and always has been while the people are a product of the world while in reality both the world and the beings in it are the same, they are consciences of the conscience, the world can change us... but we can also change the world (its correct also logically as we can observe with our modern societies).
There is one fact... you can produce results in an experiment with so many different means, you can debunk telekinesis but there will always be a small possibility that it is true and therefore it will always be debatable but no one side will win since they can both "prove" their points. The fact of the matter is... you can achieve everything with everything, you can use everything in so many different ways, its nautral that people that do telekinesis get debunked, especially when on stage its even harder to prove it with so many skeptics on the seats... because the practitioner might be on a level where they can just manage to do it but at the same time if the belief of the other individuals leans towards telekinesis being untrue, then the result of the experiment will fundamentally end up being a failure.
Therefore... we cannot disprove something while keeping this attitude of "disproving", in truth... whatever you believe the most will come true and so... this is why it is so debatable.
