We got married in North Cyprus and this is how it happened. Part 3

So how do we get the wedding venue of our dreams....

We both agreed that we wanted to get married abroad. And really there was only one place we wanted to be, North Cyprus.

For those of you who dont know much about Cyprus it is split into the southern side which is Greek and the northern side which is Turkish.
Without going into the politics of it, North Cyprus was formed after the turks invaded in the 70s.

We have been holidaying here for about 15 years and We've seen the island grow from a secret retreat for those that were "in the know" about this little piece of paradise to a popular holiday destination.

Heck even the turtles love it here!

But the island has still managed to keep its identity and not conform to being commercialised.
They don't have Burger King they have Burger City. They dont have Pizza Hut they have Pizza King, KFC is Chicken Run...


The food is a big deal in North Cyprus (TRNC), everything is fresh and cooked with love. And the steak! Wow the steak is just to die for...and wont set you back more than £20 for the biggest and best cut!

I could talk about their food all day!
