Jerusalem Cat

This white cat is probably my favourite feline denizens in my Old City Jerusalem neighbourhood. For some reason all the cats who live in here are feral but they are generally friendly, especially to a hand that is about to feed them. They each have their own personalities, just like people do. This particular cat cries all the time when it is being petted and never tries to bite or scratch when it is being over stimulated by touch. It is although it is trying to communicate something to people. I love it but don't have a name for it. Unfortunately, I could not get a closer shot of it but instead got as much of the plant to it's left. I took this photo next to "The Cardo," the main street of then "Aelia Capitolina," the Roman name for Jerusalem after the Jewish population had been expelled from the city.
