Black Mirror Review

Black Mirror is a Netflix original show that falls under the genre of sci-fi. If you haven't seen this show I highly recommend it, as it is by far one of the best shows I've seen. It is definitely a darker show, and is almost borderline morbid. At first I had my doubts but once I started watching I was absolutely hooked and I watched all 4 seasons in less than a week. Many of the episodes while still science fiction are very relatable and not too far fetched. The show really delves in to how self absorbed and selfish people are; as well as how dependent people are upon things such as social media and technology.
The way the seasons work is weird; there are only 3 episodes in season one, 4 in season two, and then 6 in seasons three and four. AT first glance its hard to see any sort of connection between episodes but later in the seasons little things start to stand out. For the most part however, you can just pick and choose episodes and you'd never really miss much. With that being said however, I would personally recommend watching it start to finish, as it is interesting seeing the very subtle connections between episodes.
It's not often that I find a series that actually moves me and helps jump start my imagination but this show was definitely it.
