Blessing or bird dropping?
One day, while visiting Camp Chesterfield, this little beauty appeared in my yard. Literally, it wasn't there when I left, (or I didn't notice it) and there it stood upon my return. I felt a beautiful spiritual connection with the universe.
Then it came to me that my happiness is because of my perception. The fact is my neighbor's bird feeder hangs pretty close to the fence line.
That kinda sums of life. It's all in how I look at it. It could be crap. It could be a kiss on the forehead from the universe with a whisper saying, "You're on the right track."
Either perception does not change a tangible yellow flower in my yard. The only thing that changes with perception, is my happiness.
I choose to believe in my happiness. So Michael made it a home out of clippings and an old board. I tend it everyday with gratitude and water. Cause it makes my soul sing to believe it is a gift. Those soul-singing moments, I live for those. Looking and living for blessings is better than looking and living for the next hit. It's a beautiful life, honest. It's all in the perception.
I've been church shopping for awhile now. I'm going to check out the church at Camp Chesterfield. I'll blog about it soon.
Let me go ahead and !originalworks this for you :)
