Hiking and biking 🛵😎:We spent the day driving around in, and outside Krabitown

in #blog7 years ago

we took many small roads, and although the city itself is a bit messy sometimes, there is a lot of rural areas, roads with very little buildings where you almost don´t see any people close by, one or two cows shewing Grass beside the road, a bunch of monkeys who stopped and stare at us and a wounded snake was the big happenings on our trip.

The evening we spent in town searching for a pillow for me, after my daytrip, I was painfully reminded of how bad one gets in that lower part of your body going on a motorbike for a long time, unfortunately that was not a successful mission. No pillow was found. At dinnertime we went to the water that flows into the outskirts of Krabitown at one of the many foodtrucks that were deployed there. I went for the redsnapper with chilli and garlic sauce superyummi, served with a spoon, fork,  a glass of beer and ice with a straw..it happens only in Thailand ❤️

This morning we left Krabitown and our guesthouse, "Baan to" which was a really good one for 450 Baht/day. With us from there we also got a "motorbike" for 150 Baht/day which we had to promise to take really good care of 😁.

We took a turn past Ao Nang and then on to Khlong Muang, this area are maybe not really in the class of our budget, but we managed to find a hotel that was a bit off, as we managed to dump down from 1200 to 700 baht, it's very nice and feels a bit like it's quite new. We plan to stay here for a couple of nights and get some sun o swimming.

until now, I have managed to get a ”beautiful”so-called "farmer-tan" after all the biking and it has to be taken care of as soon as possible😜.

The first night here in Khlong Muang however, the rain was pouring down heavely so there was a quiet home evening in the room with Rickard's company and a little socialnetworking.

There has also been some time over too little reflections on life spices in general and Thai spices in particular. It's very strange to think that a country in a continent where the base food is rice, and the type of humidity is so humid that it is almost possible to drink it, it has not been ”invented” to put uncooked rice in the salt pot . Yes, it's that kind of big questions that come up to the surface as body and soul enter vacation-mood.

Have a beautiful day 🌺❤️☮️
