Treat people like people. Do it your way and live your life. A message to fellow steemians for 2018
My 3 commandments for my fellow steemians for 2018, in short.
- Treat people like people
How many times do you go to the mall and spend considerable amounts of money on things just because we feel it was a good deal?
When a man sells an item of daily utility, or a rose, or a lighter, on the roads don't just walk away, buy them!
It may push you down a few dollars, but you will help them to retain their hope.
It's not easy for them to maintain that level of energy, enthusiasm and eagerness when being faced with people who really are not interested.
Respect that.
Help the world remain hopeful.
And if you can’t, it’s always nice to stop, make eye contact, and tell them you don’t have the money or don’t need it.
Thank them for their time, and continue about your day.
Treat people like people.
Be soulful, positive, enthusiastic, sunshines and rainbows.

Leave the doors of your heart open. And do it, remaining yourself, respecting your identity.
Do it your way, the right way, with your heart, with your believes.
You've got to be passionate about what you do and honest with what you really want to do and not with what the society expects you to do.
Always. Even at an old age.
- Live your life.
It is not a sin to be alone. It's not an obligation to be in a relationship.
Some people can’t or they don’t even know how to be by themselves. They need the constant approval, company, co-dependence! Don’t wait for people to do things, to live your life,to do what you want or need, be comfortable with yourself, doing things with or without somebody!

I agree with your commandments (among others), and will strive to "obey" them in 2018.
I particularly like the first one.
If you need someone to do something for you, ask politely and humbly.
If someone does something / anything for you, be sure to thank them, sincerely.
If someone needs help, help them. (And there are many people who need help.)
If someone is talking to you, listen to them, closely and with full attention.
... etc. etc...
That is, treat all people like people.

Picture one; we all want to survive
Picture two; be positive and smile
Picture three; feel alive, beauty is visible
What a great post, so right, we have to take care for ourselves and others.
True, in all aspects. We have to take care of, support, and nurture ourselves and those around us. Selfishness and ego-centrism will only hurt us.
And happy 2018!
My single credo for 2018 is to try not to be an asshole. I complain a lot about other Assholes, I think this is the year I should get of my hole and attempt not to be such an ass. I like your commandments to, they will definitely help in my venture. Happy New Year
