What is the real meaning of success?

When i ask most of my friends and family what a successful person is, all the answers i receive are those that a successful person is one who is rich and wealthy. THIS IS NOT TRUE. Success is not being rich and wealthy, although most people who are rich/wealthy are successful, success in itself has a different meaning.

Success is basically the achievement of your set goals.
If you want to become a doctor and you work hard and become a good doctor, then you are successful. You might not be rich but you are successful.

This are some of the ways you can use to succeed at your goals:

#1 ABILITY TO TAKE ACTION AT THE TIME WHEN YOU FEEL MOST UNCERTAIN

What do you do when you have this great idea which you want to make it a reality but you do not know how or where to start? Many at times we tend to procrastinate. We say "You know what! let me just do it tomorrow", and this continues until you never even get to work on your idea. The best way to overcome this is if you ever get this idea that you think might work for you, just take action at the moment. Do some research on it to see if the idea is viable.If it is, don't hesitate, go ahead and execute it. You never know, it might be the next big Facebook or Google idea haha. The idea might not be very clear at the moment but the dots will always connect as you continue working on it.NEVER PROCRASTINATE, WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO TODAY, DO IT TODAY AND NEVER TOMORROW.

#2 SPEED OF IMPLEMENTATION

This is a very important quality if you want to succeed at what you do.Remember you might not be the only one with the idea you have out there. Many people can have the same idea but how fast you implement your idea is what actually matters. If its a business idea of selling a product, it all depends on how fast you get into the market and start selling your product. A good example is how Bill gates got into partnership with IBM. He was to install software(operating system) to every computer machine that IBM manufactured. Bill Gates' Operating system(DOS a command line operating system) was not the best at that time since Apple had already invented a graphical user interface at that time. But Bill Gates saw an opportunity in IBM's need to acquire an operating system and he was able to implement the solution fast.This put him at the top of the game and Microsoft became a billion dollar company.

# 3 VALUE OF TIME

How much do you value your time? How do you manage your time? How we manage and use our time is what determines if we shall succeed or not. I personally value time more than money. Every minute wasted is money lost. I am not saying that we work for the whole 24 hours, NO that will be impossible.
How we use our working hours is what matters. We all have 24 hours each day, even Bill Gates himself, so nothing should stop us from succeeding when we manage our time well.
