Facebook Will Launch Feature to Rival Twitter in Current News
The fight with Twitter has begun when Facebook added the feature of "Breaking News" in their platform. The aim of this company is to make users read easily the current news in their News Feed. They can also follow the news. This will attract more users who want to be always informed on the current events of their country and around the world.
The testing of this feature has already begun and Facebook is thinking to expand the support from the publishers to more than 50 from Latin America, North America, Australia and Europe. The publishers will add the tag for the breaking news everyday. The tag set by the publishers will make the post appear 15 minutes to 6 hours. Facebook also allows users to report news if publishers input wrong tags.
There will be more publishers to join this open test. Looking forward to this feature and its contribution to the online community. I hope this is the end of fake news.
