It seems the idea that the written content brings in more eyeballs is over. We are in the next day and age where if you write something of value, depth or funny - you will be rewarded.

Of course, not every blog is going in this direction.

But...

Many publishers have realized - it is best to go with the audience money. And ditch the advertisers. And with the rise in cryptocurrency enabled platform - you don't need audience money in a way.

But I see many people hesitant to back the new creators - I wonder why.

The feedback loop can't be completed if the audience doesn't speak whey they don't like something or why they love something else.
