A mother has to struggle with death due to reference to safe motherhood, According to ICPD 1994 had mentioned that 0.5 million women died of pregnancy complication each year for the decade 19190s. that figure was targeted to lower to 250 thousand by 2000 and to 125 thousand by 2015. In order to meet the target, motherhood should be safe. In this way the measures to save mother's health.
There are measures to save mothers to save mothers from problems of pregnancy safe motherhood teaches us when is safe to become pregnant, how should we care the pregnant women, how we can provide qualitative obstetric care.
