Tag proposal for steemit recruiting?

Just thinking out loud again...

Thinking about this post from @joseph
And this post from @cmp2020 (my son)
And this post & comment from @bbora and @sbw

Something hit me. Maybe @cmp2020 is on to something, here. Maybe one thing leading to an outflux of authors is the fact that their friends from other platforms are not joining them here?

We all know what a great idea steemit is... one look through the whitepaper, and it's "obvious" that this thing is going to explode. But, what if someone isn't interested in cryptocurrency or a new social media site? Why would they spend the time to read the whitepaper, or even an FAQ? So we learn about steemit and announce to our friends that we're joining steemit, and we share a couple steemit links on facebook, and our friends yawn. Now we're stranded in an unfamiliar virtual world surrounded by people we don't know. No one says "happy anniversary" or "happy birthday" any more, and it all feels sort of sterile and mercenary. Maybe, the inertia and gravity of existing social connections are factors that are acting to pull authors away from steemit?

There's a genre of steemit post I've seen that might be harnessed to counteract these forces. The most recent example was @cmp2020's post yesterday. He asked for help to encourage his marching band's mellophone section to join steemit, and announced that he would pass the SBD from his post to the rest of his section to try to interest them in joining.

So, if the thing that's missing for some authors is their friends, then how can steemit make it easier to bring friends along? Maybe by adding a hashtag for that genre of post? Perhaps steemit should start a new hashtag, similar to "introducemyself" - and whales and others should monitor that hash tag the same way they monitor the introductions? It could be #recruiting-help or #referral, for example.

Obviously, there is some abuse potential, but that's also true with introductions. Bots will have to keep track of accounts that go to the well too often, etc... Ideally, SBD transfers could happen inside steemit, directly to the new accounts, so bots could be developed to keep track of who follows through and who doesn't.
