Woman Screens Boyfriends With Very Personal Application Form, Gets Swamped With Responses

in #blog7 years ago

Arantza Fahnbulleh is stunning, talented, smart, funny, and accepting "daddy" applications.  Fahnbulleh has posted an online app for her potential suitors to complete so that her team of "b*tches* can screen them and help her find the one. Her criteria are pretty strict.  So far, over 500 applications have come in, and things don't seem to be slowing down at all.  Hopefully, Fahnbulleh finds the one.  We're curious to see who the ultimate boyfriend is.

Arantza. This is Arantza Fahnbulleh. She's a popular Vine star with a huge Instagram following.

Arantza is single. Arantza wanted to announce to the world that she's single, so she did it in a very big way. And very publicly.

Daddy application. Potential suitors who are interested in dating Arantza can fill out her Daddy Application. The application, available through her Instagram page, is a downloadable pdf, similar to a job application. She uses the application to screen her suitors.

Over 500 responses. Since first posting the application, Arantza has received over 500 responses. Now, she has a team of "b*tches" reviewing the submissions for her.

Baby mama troubles. Based on the application, it looks like Arantza might not be a fan of men who have baby mamas in their lives. She also isn't too impressed with men who have a lot of sexual partners.

The screening process. Those who meet Arantza's rigorous screening process are invited to interview. We're not sure how many men have made the cut so far.

A confident man. One thing is for sure -- Arantza is going to choose a guy with a lot of confidence. Also, she is going to choose someone who doesn't mind sharing his relationship with the public, possibly at his own expense.

A direct approach. What Arantza is doing is pretty clever. It's similar to an OKCupid profile, except she's cutting through the BS and directly stating what she's looking for.

50 million single adults in the US. Over 50 million adult men and women in the United States are without a significant other. That’s far less than half of the U.S. population, but still a considerable number especially for the hundreds of internet dating websites looking to turn a profit on people seeking a mate.

41 million. Over 41 million people in the US have tried online dating. The vast majority of single people in the U.S. have tried online dating at one time or another. It’s safe to say that many single people consider online dating a viable option when it comes to finding at least a sexual partner. Some may have tried it and decided it wasn’t for them or were unsuccessful in finding a suitable date.

eHarmony. Over 17 million people have eHarmony accounts. eHarmony is one of the most popular online dating websites on the market. For a monthly membership that sells for as little $10.95 (for a 24-month subscription), eHarmony claims that it will use scientific algorithms to couple single people with their best relationship match.

Match.com. Match.com has over 20 million members. Members can join the site for $20.99 for 12 months (in addition to multiple subscription options) and complete their profiles, which include a series of questions. The questions form a summary of users’ personalities. Similar to eHarmony and many other online dating sites, Match uses this data and compares it with other members to assign a “perfect match”.

Over $200 a year. The average online dating membership costs over $200 a year. Out of the 41 million Americans who have tried online dating, a large number have stuck to it, and tested their faith by spending an average of $238 a year for memberships and other perks. This isn’t necessarily a large sum for people who might spend a lot more just for a night out.

52% are men. 52% of people with online dating accounts are men. This percentage is good news for single women. They have a lot of options when choosing a man to engage or respond to, or when finding someone new if one man ends up being a dud after a face-to-face date.

20% of committed relationships. Reportedly, approximately 20% of all committed relationships started off online. Not too shabby. Hopefully, the right guy fills out the Daddy Application for Arantza!
