Visual communication has always fascinated me, especially so with editorial illustration. The kind of art you see coupled with an interesting article in a Wired magazine, or newspaper - the kind of graphic that tells a story even at first glance - even with no context at all, you just "get it".

While I've sharpened my creative sword from training with logos creation and packaging to motion and web pages - graphic illustration has always been my true calling.

I've never been a blogger but I have been a reader and am an avid blockchain enthusiast and pixel junkie - so Steemit is an ideal place for me to get started.

The Goal

My aim is to post an original illustration each week. This is a way to challenge myself, document my journey, see what blogging is all about, and use a platform thats blockchain based at the same time. Sounds good to me.

I plan on having a focus on society, technology, blockchain, world events, and general sentiment around these things.

With all that being said - below is my first editorial illustration of the series. "21st Century Thinker"
