RE: Please Read! Do Something If You Can!
Hey, y'all should start using the #upfundme tag on these posts - it's specifically a tribe for crowdfunding. I think you will find Steem to be a friendlier and more helpful place - I have seen (and received) help given many, many times here!
If you want to use UFM, the idea is that you say how much you need for your goal - while the price of Steem is so low, you may want to break it up into bits, like, you need $x for some part for the motor home or $x for the motor home itself, and so on. Then keep track of how close you are getting toward your goal and put that in your next post so everyone can see your progress (which is also why breaking it up into parts makes it more manageable, because you can celebrate reaching each smaller goal within the larger goal).
And with UFM, you also will get UFM tokens - another coin in addition to Steem/SBD. You might also tag #palnet, which can be used on any type of post, and earn PAL coins as well. All will get you a little bit closer to your goals!
Some other ideas:
On SteemPeak, you can designate someone else to get the payout of a post so you don't have to futz with it manually; upon payout, it will automatically go to that person.
You might want to check out another big project that the Steem fam has been trying to get done, and that's @drutter's posts about building a well in Venezuela. That might give you some ideas about future posts!
Good luck!!
Thank you for the information. I am new to Steemit and this will help a lot!

I had a friend help my doing some figures. It will take about 20,000 steem to get him to his goal. That is a lot. He said he remembered when steem was over 1.00. I guess that will not happen again from what I have heard. I will keep trying I just sent him 28 Steem, that is what I could buy right now. Just keep chipping away at it.
Steem could definitely get over a dollar again. The thing about the crypto markets is that they can move fast. I was here during the all time high, and six months before I joined, Steem was at 7 cents. Three months or so after I joined, it was a dollar. People try and predict it, but generally I am hopeful because there is so much development on Steem with all the coins on Steem-Engine and all the dapps like Actifit and Splinterlands (a card game). There's a lot of potential for it to grow again, and if it does, then you'll be able to do more with less Steem. Don't give up hope, just keep chipping away, is how I look at it. If it doesn't happen, oh well - but if it does, you'll be prepared to take advantage of the opportunity!
