Worshiper in Spirit and in Truth
"Behold, I am coming soon! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book. I John is the one who heard and saw these things. And after I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the angel's feet He was showing me these things. But he said to me: Look, don't do it, because I am your servant, your brothers the prophets, and those who keep the words of this book. Worship God. And he said: Do not seal the words of the prophecy in this book, for the time is at hand. "
Apoc. 22: 7-10
The word worship means to bow down in homage, to bow.
Many confuse worshiping with singing a song to God.
It goes much more than that. Jesus said that the Father seeks worshipers in spirit and in truth.
At this time God is demanding genuine worship from his church.
If there is genuine worship, it means that there is false worship.
Pretending to be a true worshiper and being real means breaking man-made structures.
Worship is humbling yourself before your presence, no matter what they will say.
You can be a very good host, but a terrible worshiper.
This is what the Pharisee Simon did when he invited Jesus to dinner, when the prostitute woman came in with the perfume, he really revealed who really worshiped God.
The Father only accepts the adoration of the Son.
You and I are not giving anything from us when we are worshiping, we are giving to the Father what we receive from Him, his son.
The only sacrifice that God accepts is that of the Son.
To adore is to love, it is to demonstrate with facts rather than lips.
Many love their song more than the one they are worshiping.
The woman broke protocols, which Simon himself did not do.
Jesus entered his house, but did not receive his adoration.
We can say that we are in Christ, but with our actions we deny it.
We can recite the Bible by heart, but not have the Word of life.
God is waiting for His People to surrender at His feet.
Let the genuine passion for him reignite.
Go back to the first love with Jesus.
Worship in spirit and in truth.
The end is near, things must be arranged with the Lord before He returns.
