Time for Change
I wiped out really hard today when surfing. I was just cruising in a state of bliss without paying attention to the drop in the wave just ahead of me. I slammed neck first into the bottom of the wave, an entertaining show for the rest of the lineup.
This moment reminded me of how an ignorant bliss state can lead to wipeouts and is this where our world is headed if we don’t start shifting our ways to adjust for the oncoming section?
Climate Reality is quite alarming....we are now on track to blow right by the doomed 2 degree Celsius sea-temp rise.
In the last 25 years, we’ve made more greenhouse gas emissions than in all of history before, we haven’t slowed our roll, we’ve only increased the mass pollution.
The addiction to plastic and single-use everything.
Instead of halting Goliath, we’ve fueled it, literally.
There will come a point in time that we cannot ignore it anymore,
Everything is going to have to change. Systems Overhaul.
The global surfing community needs to be a part of the solution, earth troops on the ground, in the sea, being eco-leaders in their own communities.
When the eco-revolution penetrates homes and communities, to cities, counties, states, countries, every level has to evolve to one that harmonizes with the earth.
Lately I have been learning a bit about BIOREMEDIATION... specifically effective microorganisms also known as EM-1. It’s the active ingredient in Bokashi, which is utilized to ferment food scraps, and speed up the process of food waste turning into effective soil that sequesters carbon out of our atmosphere.
We’ve also been researching how EM-1 is an effective bioremediation agent for toxic and nuclear waste, and how to apply it.
Perhaps we’ll learn how to clean up our messes and reinvigorate our soils and souls.
Imagine what a thrill it would be in our lifetime to witness and be a part of an entire system’s shift.
Like watching the best Drama ever made, and human kind finally wakes up, and works together to change the narrative.
@Ourdailyboard the change must start in our lives, look for ways not to depend on many things that damage our planet. Climate change is a very serious problem, so serious that if we do not do something to reverse it will be in danger the lives of many living beings ... the title of your post tells us the only solution, "It's time to change"
