The hand tightened fin bolt

Because who the F*#K wants to use a tool to swap out their fins.

As a longboard surfer I swap out my single fin a lot because it changes how the board rides. Traditionally you have to have a tool to swap out your fin. This is just ridiculous. I met up with one of my mates in the parking lot the other morning after a small longboard day at the pier and he was showing me his collection of different fins in the car.

I was amazed when I saw his fin bolt was able to be hand tightened. Like many evolutions in product design I was left thinking well why didn’t they think of that sooner. Turns out it has been around for a while. So, the real question is "why didn't I think of this sooner".

I immediately ordered some online and have exchanged all the previous set ups that required either a flat head screwdriver or an fin tool.
