A couple of things,....

A few tips today:

When you need to feel more grounded, literally feeling your feet on the earth is so helpful. I also always encourage people to utilize their senses in order to get back to the present


When you need to calm down, try taking some deep breaths to activate your parasympathetic nervous system. From here, you can more readily care for yourself. Pausing to breathe intentionally is one of the biggest tools we all have access to.

Use it.



When you need to get way too much done, try prioritizing the top three most important tasks. When we narrow things down, it feels a lot more manageable and less overwhelming. You don't have to finish everything.

When you need to feel your feelings, it can be so supportive to schedule something nourishing afterwards -- time with a friend, a nice walk, going to a bookstore... whatever might be supportive for you. Proactively setting yourself up for support is like having a safety net for vulnerability.


When you feel like you have a lot of changes to make, start with one at a time. You don't need to change everything all at once - it might feel more helpful to ask yourself, "what's one thing I can do differently today that will feel more supportive?" It doesn't have to be major to be meaningful.
