I am a photographer and one thing I learn is to explore other form of arts to expand my horizon. Perspective is one of them. If one is just to stick to anything and everything photography, his/her growth in the field will be narrower and narrower. Something like music or sculpture is something that can compliment the art of photography very well. So what you says totally make sense.
