PEACE - WHAT THE WORLD DESPERATELY NEEDS AT THIS MOMENT
Peace according to the Oxford Dictionary is a situation or period of time n which there is no war or violence in a country or area. It also defines peace as a state of being calm and quiet. For me, peace is a situation where by there is no conflict and there is a sense of calm between two or more individuals, communities and countries.
In this present time, we have heard of many events ranging from wars between countries and communities to petty murders between individuals who were once friends. In our world today, the crime rates are increasing.
Right now, business tycoons have mercenary or mercenaries to help them accomplish their devilish plan of killing their enemies there by making the useless. Right now, serial killers, kidnappers, armed robbers, cultists, ritualists, rapists and all the rest are roaming the streets in search of their next victim.
This is happening because there is no peace and a sense of security. If there is peace and a sense of security in countries, all this won’t be happening. If the government had only provided job opportunities earlier, these people would not have strayed away from the right path.
We need to lead those who have strayed back to the right path. We should try to provide opportunities for them to take in order to live respectful lives so that they can impact our society positively. Therefore we need to do a lot of things to make our society a better place.
We need to enlighten the youths around us to abstain from these crimes. We should not only say it but also act it. We need to stop using the youths for our selfish interests. If we do these things and a lot more, peace can be be guaranteed in our society.
