Deeper Down the Rabbit Hole
This was all happening close to the time that ENS distributed their token across their community for their Ethereum based domains. It had been a project I had on a very long to do list but it intrigued me as I have seen others looking into similar projects. Those engaged in the various ecosystem know how difficult it remains today to manage our wallets and the importance of identity in the future as the physical economies start to converge with the digital economy.
I did some more homework and it landed me to a point that I wanted to register my own ETH domain to ensure its use in the future. Given the time spent on reading that night, I found myself past midnight looking at GAS fees given the costs of registering. Fortunately, given the time of day, I found an opportunity to do without spending too much on fees so I dove in and registered it. However, I guess that is where it all begins.
The end of one process starts another and I am finding myself engaged with a number of communities to leverage some of this in the future. However, I want to do it with purpose so it will be a very introverted approach as I am myself. The potential and opportunities continue to build and while I am sure more challenge lie ahead and will bring adversity similar to those in the bear market of 2018, there is no looking back to not seeing a digital world transform the physical one we know.
