The Ocean and Me

I'm quite a crazy dude with a lot of mistakes and flaws but when I'm near the ocean, it's like coming back to the source. I calm down, feel like I have been born again and just enjoy the moment. But why is this? What makes the ocean so magical?

There is even a name for this phenomena: Thalassophile

The movie Chasing Mavericks has a beautiful quote I would like to share with you:

We all come from the sea, but we are not all of the sea. Those of us who are, we children of the tides, must return to it again and again, until the day we don't come back leaving only that which was touched along the way.

Chasing Mavericks is a great movie. Those waves were insane.
The scene where that guy fainted in class because he held his breath too long was hilarious.
