Have Yourself a Merry Smart Christmas Tree 🎄

Yo steemies! It’s been sometime since I took some space to catch up on life. Started a new job and things are going well! Now, on to the good stuff, creating your own Smart Christmas Tree 🎄 That’s right!

There are many smart devices that hook up to Amazons Echo or as most of us know it: Alexa! but I decided to get extra creative and purchase the TP Link as pictured below:

This little baby allowed me to plug it into my wall up front, sync it to my Alexa, using the Kasa app. (Found on the App Store)

It’s actually pretty simple, all you have to do is:

1. plug in the TP Link to your outlet.
2. Connect to the TP Link via your mobile phone WiFi.
3. Once the connection is made go back to your Kasa app, then it will see your TP Link hardware.
4. Name it something cute like: “Christmas Tree Lights”

Then Plug your Christmas Tree 🎄 into the TP Link plug and AWESOMESAUCE! You have a Smart Tree! Lol 😂

Now have fun saying “Alexa, Turn on the ‘Christmas Tree Lights’” and she shall respond with “Ok!” And presto! Your Christmas Tree Lights up in all its glory. Ha ha
